Erding - A 60-year-old man from Munich threatened other people with a knife on Monday near the Media Markt in Erding. At around 14:30 p.m., the Erdinger Inspektion received the corresponding notification. A large-scale police operation was the result.
Numerous strips made their way to Media Markt. A shop detective (32) had already taken up the pursuit of the fugitive 60-year-old and told the police his respective location. In the meantime, he was walking on Dachauer Straße in the direction of the city center.
At the intersection with Sigwolfstraße, the officers put the man. Only after urgent requests did he put the knife on the ground. At the time of his arrest, he still resisted, but was subsequently taken to a psychiatric facility. A policeman was slightly injured in the hand during the operation.
A breath alcohol test showed the perpetrator to have a value of about 0.6 per thousand. He now has to answer in a criminal case, he will probably not get the knife back.
