Bad Tölz - Mayor Ingo Mehner recently bought land for the city at auction for 8.7 million euros. This could not have been foreseen in the financial planning for 2023, which is why a supplementary budget had to be drawn up.
As reported, the city of Bad Tölz was able to acquire the Maxlweiher and a total of 70,000 square meters of forest and meadow between Sachsenkamer Straße and Bundesstraße 472 for 8.7 million euros. In addition, there are 304,500 euros in real estate transfer tax and a surcharge of 18,000 euros. Treasurer Silke Furmanek must therefore provide nine million euros. As she recently explained at the city council meeting, 3.7 million are to be taken from the general reserve and 1.8 million from the special reserve for housing projects.
A further 500,000 euros less is to be added to the reserves, so that a total of six million are still missing. Three million are to be financed by taking out a loan.
However, it may be that tax revenues develop more positively than expected, so that you may only have to finance two million through loans. In total, the city still has 12 million euros in reserves, Furmanek said.
At the request of city councillor Anton Mayer (CSU), it was announced that the complete nine million have already been paid. Otherwise, interest would have accrued. Through the "deal", the city has secured a good five hectares of meadows west of the Flinthöhe, which could one day become building land. However, as Mayor Ingo Mehner (CSU) said, this is currently not up for debate. Karl Bock
