Summary. More than three months after their disappearance, the bodies of Leslie Hoorelbeke, 22, and Kevin Trompat, 21, were found on March 3 and 4, 2023, between Charente-Maritime and Deux-Sèvres.
Investigators quickly leaned towards the hypothesis of double homicide, and between March and April, five men were indicted and imprisoned, including Tom Trouillet, the mutual friend with whom the couple was staying on the evening of his disappearance in late November 2022. Le Parisien had access to the statements of the suspects interviewed that allowed investigators to understand what happened the night Leslie and Kevin were murdered.
For Code source, Ronan Folgoas, journalist at the police justice service of Le Parisien, takes stock of the progress of the investigation.
