Highlights: Monique Olivier is the ex-wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret. She is accused of complicity in the kidnapping of Estelle Mouzin and Marie-Angèle Domèce. It is now up to investigating judge Sabine Kheris to decide whether or not to hold a trial. If it were to take place, this trial would be the first of the "cold cases" dedicated to unsolved cases and could be held next November. The prosecutor's office, requested by AFP, confirmed the twist in the case on Tuesday.

The prosecutor's office confirmed on Tuesday the twist in the case of serial killer Michel Fourniret.

The Nanterre prosecutor's office has requested a trial before the Hauts-de-Seine Assize Court of the ex-wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret, Monique Olivier, for complicity in the kidnapping of Estelle Mouzin in 2003, and in the kidnapping and murder of Marie-Angèle Domèce in 1988 and Joanna Parrish in 1990, said Wednesday the prosecutor's office, requested by AFP.

Since the death of Michel Fourniret in 2021, Monique Olivier is the only person implicated in these three cases. It is now up to investigating judge Sabine Kheris to decide whether or not to hold a trial. If it were to take place, this trial would be the first of the "cold cases" dedicated to unsolved cases and could be held next November.
