German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has expressed satisfaction with the atmosphere of the refugee summit with the prime ministers. The meeting was "constructive and good", Scholz said on Wednesday evening after the consultations in the Chancellery. "I think this is a good day of German federalism that we have today." It is good for democracy to develop solutions together.
Berlin - A decision of the meeting showed that the federal and state governments are postponing their fundamental decision on permanently higher federal funds for refugee costs. This is to fall at the next regular meeting in November. Dpa
