The 2nd Erdinger Spring Festival begins on Friday, May 12th. 30 exhibitors, rides and food stalls, a large beer garden and much more is offered.
Erding – Tobias Martl hardly gets to sleep at the moment. The showman organizes the 2nd Erdinger Spring Festival, which will be celebrated from tomorrow, Friday, to Sunday, May 21, on the Volksfestplatz. No sooner has he dismantled his stand at the Munich Spring Festival than the set-up in Erding is in full swing.
The 37-year-old celebrated his premiere here last year with the Spring Festival, and in 2021 he had already organized the "Autumn in Erding" and before that three drive-in events on the Volksfestplatz. This year, there will be around 30 exhibitors and rides, including the 48-metre-high "Movie Star" Ferris wheel, carousels and various snack bars. In addition, there is again a large beer garden, which holds more than 2000 seats and in which this year it will be served. Martl expressly points this out. Last year was self-service, and there were sometimes long queues at the distribution.
Large parts of the beer garden are also covered - just like the stage, on which there is a program almost daily - for young and old. This means that you are largely independent of the weather. In addition, there is a primordial white hut. And on weekdays there is a discounted lunch dish.
The Spring Festival is open Monday to Friday from 13 p.m. to 23 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 23 p.m. The beer garden can also be visited on weekdays from 11.30 a.m.
