Wackersberg – A man lost his life in a serious traffic accident on Thursday (May 11). The Königsdorfer crashed his car into a tree.
The accident happened shortly before half past nine o'clock on Thursday, May 11, in the municipality of Wackersberg. According to the police report, the man, a 45-year-old from Königsdorf, was traveling on Kreisstraße 7, he drove from Bad Tölz in the direction of Königsdorf.
The police also reported: "For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the driver came off the road with his VW Golf alone to the right, collided with a tree and was thrown into the forest." Any help came too late. The impact and injuries were so severe that the Königsdorfer died on the spot.
The vehicle was completely destroyed. For the salvage work and the accident recording, the district road was closed for a long time, there were several patrols of the police stations Bad Tölz and Geretsried on site. The officers were supported by the Oberfischbach fire brigade with eight men.
