An investigation has been opened into the management of a humanitarian association of which Dylan Thiry, an influencer who has become known in reality TV shows, is the president, said Thursday the Paris prosecutor's office, solicited by AFP.
These investigations, entrusted this week to the Brigade for the repression of clever delinquency (BRDA), follow a complaint for aggravated breach of trust.
Diversion of humanitarian donations
It was filed in January by the vice-president and treasurer of this association named "For our children", which presents itself as a "media" with "the purpose of informing and alarming on the critical situations of children around the world", followed by more than 199,000 followers on Instagram.
The latter accuses Dylan Thiry, 28, of having embezzled several hundred thousand euros in humanitarian donations for his personal benefit. His complaint, which AFP has seen, cites in particular two online fundraisers to raise funds.
In February 2022, a prize pool for Madagascar closes at more than 158,000 euros. In October 2022, another raises more than 95,600 euros. According to the complainant, Dylan Thiry had pushed for the financial transactions to be carried out with his personal bank details and had not provided evidence of expenditure.

The vice-president, Sandra D., "acted as a real whistleblower in a sector of gangrenous influence" and is now "intimidated", accused by Dylan Thiry of having betrayed her, said her lawyer Tom Michel in a statement. In addition, two deputies announced on April 26 that they had reported to the Paris prosecutor's office "a situation akin to child trafficking".
These suspicions have emerged from videos published by rapper Booba, who has embarked on a crusade against influencers he calls "influencers", and who also accuses Dylan Thiry of pimping.
Booba broadcast a montage where we hear the voice of Dylan Thiry and where we see him with children. "In these voice notes, Dylan Thiry indicates that he wishes a third person to 'adopt' a child through a manifestly illegal act, and in exchange for an economic compensation," say Stéphane Vojetta, Renaissance deputy of the French abroad, and Arthur Delaporte, PS deputy of Calvados.
According to the Paris prosecutor's office, the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons (OCRVP) was seized to carry out checks on the procedural framework of these reports. "Everything that is said about me, of course, everything is false," said Dylan Thiry in a video posted Monday on Instagram.
