Bremen – Due to a broken rib, Helene Fischer (38) had to postpone her concerts as part of the "Rausch" tour. On May 10, she was finally able to catch up on the show in Bremen, which was supposed to be the start of the tour. At the concert, however, her fans got to see a new face, which some may still know from DSDS: Linda Teodosiu (31) was on stage.

Because one of her background singers didn't have time on the catch-up dates and was already on tour with Cro, a replacement had to be found. This was also quickly found: Linda Teodosiu stepped in. The musician made it to the semi-finals of DSDS in 2008. In the meantime she is part of Peter Maffay's band - and was now allowed to perform with Helene Fischer, who has just broken her own record, on their tour.
In an interview with Express.de, Linda Teodosiu said that she didn't hesitate for long when asked to step in on Helene Fischer's tour. "I had the dates off, I know half of the band anyway. I didn't have to think twice," she revealed and raved about the pop queen: "Helene is the best artist we have in Germany. It's a great honor."
The Helene Fischer phenomenon in numbers
With more than sixteen million records sold, Helene Fischer is the most commercially successful singer in Germany, making her one of the world's highest-earning musicians. Her albums "Farbenspiel" and "Best of Helene Fischer" are among the best-selling music albums in the country. So it's no surprise that the music awards are thrown at her: Helene Fischer has an incredible seventeen Echos, eight Golden Hens, three Bambis and two Golden Cameras. In 2015 she received the Bavarian Television Award for "The Helene Fischer Show". Helene Fischer's only concert in Germany in 2022 took place on August 20, 2022 in front of a record crowd of 130,000 fans in Munich – the biggest concert of her career. The first 100,000 tickets were sold in 24 hours.
Linda Teodosiu is allowed to perform ten times with Helene Fischer
Her guest appearance on Helene Fischer's "Rausch" tour is not a one-time thing. In addition to the dates in Bremen on May 10, 11 and 12, Linda Teodosiu will also be on stage with her in Cologne. The "Atemlos" interpreter will play in the cathedral city from 25 August to 2 September. Linda Teodosiu will be there for nine shows.
