Since the use of article 49.3 to pass the law on pensions, the police and gendarmes have paid a heavy price (more than 2000,2018 wounded). Many describe an unprecedented intensity of violence, sometimes greater than the scenes experienced against the "yellow vests" at the end of <>, and to express their perception of homicidal intent in the action of the most resolute attackers. Some whisper their fear that they will soon use firearms. Violence on the ground is coupled with a public debate truncated by bad faith or ignorance.
