In the shadow of the security escalation: demonstrators against the legal revolution throughout the country (Walla system!)
The protest against the legal revolution enters its 19th week this evening. The scope of the demonstrations is expected to be smaller, in the shadow of Operation Shield and Arrow and the rocket fire on southern Israeli communities. Some of the planned demonstrations were canceled. However, many of the struggle organizations announced that they had decided to demonstrate this evening on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv despite the security situation. The demonstration will take place without a main stage and speeches.
The organizations that will participate in the demonstration are the Democrats, Pink Front, No Way, Israeli Revolution, Democracy Now, Cryme Minister, Civil Democratic Movement, Comey Israel, Civil Order 8, Fighters for Justice and Democracy, Hotline of Fighters' Demonstrations, Fighters for Change Online, Mothers Against Violence, Writers' and Writers' Protest, Musicians for Democracy, The Education Struggle, No Mental Health Without Democracy, and Free Israeli Creativity.
The organizers said in a statement: "These days, when mass looting of public funds is carried out during the fighting, the danger of the axe of the aggressive and undemocratic government being raised above the necks of Israeli citizens becomes clearer. The opposition has the responsibility to stop the plot and we have the responsibility to persist in the struggle with determination until the dictatorship laws are shelved. The protests and demonstrations will continue as long as the regime coup threatens to dismantle Israeli society and collapse democracy."

The Bonim Alternative Group announced that in light of the ongoing operation and the escalation in the south and center, the main stage in Kaplan was canceled. The group invited those interested in demonstrating to join the women's protest in Ramle, Beit Shemesh, Kfar Saba, Karkur Junction, Gesher Noir, Caesarea, Hadera, Zichron Yaakov, Haifa, Tivon, Yokneam, Atlit and other northern centers. The group's statement said: "Building an alternative, strengthening those under missile attack and continuing to demonstrate for each and every one."
The organizers of the protest in Haifa announced that they were inviting "all demonstrators and demonstrators from all locations who canceled the protest due to the security situation." In some of the locations the demonstrations began and are taking place at this hour, including Ness Ziona, Rosh HaAyin and Karkur Junction.

Brothers in Arms announced that it would not demonstrate in Tel Aviv. The statement said: "This weekend we embrace
our brothers and sisters on the front line: the citizens of the envelope and the defenders of democracy in the regular, permanent and reserve forces, who once again left everything and went out to defend the residents of the State of Israel. Out of solidarity with the residents of the envelope and IDF fighters, and out of considerations of public safety, we decided with a heavy heart and after much deliberation that we would not demonstrate this weekend in Kaplan. We will respect and stand at demonstration sites that do decide to demonstrate.
