VALLS Manual. - Yes, by telling the truth. The climate crisis, poverty, conflicts and especially demographic changes will intensify this phenomenon. The population of the African continent will almost double by 2050 to 2.5 billion. It is imperative for Europe to build a great partnership with Africa, if we do not want the Mediterranean to continue to be the sea of daily tragedies. It must also equip itself with a genuine common policy that does not exist today: asylum, foreign minors, real and physical protection of our external borders by massively helping the countries on the front line (Greece, Balkans, Italy, Spain...). Without borders, the European project will mean nothing.
