Markéta Lübben and other tidiness coaches have launched a project to help people tidy up. This is also the case for two teenagers from Kirchdorf.
Kirchdorf – Already in the morning, things are going well for the Kiel family in Kirchdorf: Six children, between the ages of two and 15, have to leave the house. The grown-ups go to school, the little ones to daycare. Then do homework, play and occasionally have an argument before the whole gang has to be made ready for bed. There's always action at the Kiels. There is not much time to tidy up – especially because both Tanja Kiel and her husband are working full-time.
When mom Tanja Kiel became aware of Markéta Lübben and her free project for a good cause (we reported) through the Tagblatt, she didn't hesitate for long and contacted the order coach from Freising. The 42-year-old office clerk's urgent wish is to bring a bit more structure into the everyday life of the family of eight with professional support.

Lübben receives several requests, but ultimately decides in favor of the Kirchdorf family. The parents' wish was to tackle the room of their two teenage boys, Lübben reports. "I was immediately enthusiastic about this, because it is very important to me to make the younger generation aware of the advantages of order and to let them feel the newfound lightness afterwards. They benefit from this all their lives."

So a Saturday is chosen as the big clean-up day – and it's not just the two eleven-year-old and 13-year-old boys who eagerly help. Their shared room is first turned inside out, then it is mucked out. Several baskets help with sorting: What can go? What remains? And how can this be stowed away in such a way that a basic order is always given? Lübben attaches great importance to the latter, because its support should be as sustainable as possible. "Especially with six children, it's certainly easier to lose track of things, and at some point everything gets over your head." To prevent this from happening again in the future, it's good if everyone pulls together – like the Kiels, where the five older children also lend a hand.
Great relief
After six hours of work, the two teenagers in particular were overjoyed in their new, old kingdom, reports mom Tanja Kiel in an FT interview. "And for myself, it was a great relief." Above all, because everyone at Kiel now knows how to establish and maintain order in principle. "It has brought us a lot," emphasizes Tanja Kiel. Gradually, the other rooms can now follow the youth room.

By the way, the expert's tip is: "You should ask yourself which area brings the greatest relief and start with it." This is often the kitchen as the heart of the home. "If it's tidy, all family members benefit from it."
The Kiel family agrees and is therefore tackling this space next – with the support of Markéta Lübben. True to their credo: "Order on the outside ensures order on the inside." Tanja Kiel and her husband also benefit from this – and not least their little gang of rascals.
