A 24-year-old man and two boys, aged 17 and 16, from Bnei Brak, were charged in recent days with kidnapping and brutal robbery late last month. In it, the three posed as a woman on Instagram and lured a man to a car park in the city, where they assaulted, threatened and robbed him. The Bnei Brak police in the Dan area arrested the three and a few days ago an indictment was filed against them.
The serious indictment indicates that the three planned the act in advance, and lured the victim through a fictitious Instagram account. When the victim arrived at the meeting place they had arranged with him in the evening, the three deliberately entered him with electric bicycles and caused him to get out of his vehicle. They then beat him with irons and sticks, put him back in his car with a knife to his neck and led him to a nearby wooded area, where they attacked him again.

The indictment also states that the three men later threatened the victim that they would kill him if he did not give them NIS 2,000 or give them his cell phone. The victim went with them to an ATM and transferred 1,000 shekels to the three defendants. The three then left him bruised and beaten in the parking lot where he met with them and fled the scene.
The Bnei Brak police, which opened an investigation upon receiving the report, arrested the suspects about three days after the incident, including two minors. And a few days ago, an indictment was filed against the three and a request for remand until the end of the proceedings.
