Bad Tölz – On Wednesday, 17 May, the vocational baccalaureate and Abitur examinations for the 12th and 13th grades will start again at the Tölzer Fach- und Berufsoberschule (FOS/BOS).
It starts with the subject German. It continues on Friday, May 19, with the respective profile subject, which is either physics, business administration, pedagogy/psychology or health sciences, depending on the specialization.
After that, the high school graduates will have a little breather before continuing with the subject of mathematics after the weekend on Monday, May 22. Finally, on Tuesday, May 23, the students will be tested in the foreign language English.
A total of 332 students from the Tölzer Fos/Bos are taking the Abitur: 246 from the 12th grade and 86 from the 13th grade. The exams are written on the one hand in the auditorium and on the other hand in the individual classrooms of the school building.
"Since the number of those who acquire their entrance to a technical college and university at the vocational secondary school is so large, a high degree of resilience and organizational talent is also demanded of the teachers," reports Thomas Bastecky from the school management.
Of course, the focus is on the students, says Bastecky. "The entire teaching staff wishes them every success." We are pleased that this year's examination process is no longer influenced by the Corona pandemic and are optimistic about the next few days."
