A pipeline in Russia has exploded, costing one person his life. The explosion occurred during a repair.

Pipeline explodes: fire starts during repair work
According to Russian emergency services, the explosion occurred on the section of the main gas pipeline in the Beloyarsky district, about 30 kilometers from the village of Himma. The fire started during repair work.
A source in the Emergency Service of the Russian Federation stated that "an inactive gas pipeline was set on fire in the block valve area of the linear part of an unused pipeline of the main gas pipeline of Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk of the Bobrovsk linear production of Yamal-Europe."
Explosion of Nord Stream pipelines in September 2022
The most prominent explosion of a gas pipeline in the recent past occurred at the end of September 2022. At that time, explosions tore holes in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines. The case is still unsolved, but sabotage is assumed. Thus, there were reports of Russian civilian ships in the vicinity of the explosion sites.
