Honor in Dubai: Rebbe Rabbi Pinto received by senior government officials - Walla! Judaism

Upon Rebbe Pinto's arrival in Dubai, an official reception was held in his honor hosted by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarach Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance. Rabbi Pinto was present; His son and successor, Rabbi Yoel Moshe Pinto, and the Rebbe's brother, Rabbi Menachem Pinto.

The welcome dinner was attended by many senior officials of the kingdom and government, businessmen, and an invited audience, who came in honor of Rabbi Pinto's arrival in Dubai, "The rabbi is a symbol of tolerance among all parts of humanity," the sheikh told the Rebbe, "We are happy to welcome you here in Dubai. We are very honored to have you here," he added.

"The UAE is a place of connection and unity," Rebbe Rabbi Pinto told the Minister of Tolerance, adding: "All parts of religions live here in peace, and the kingdom respects Judaism and the Jews who live here and come here from all over the world."

In the evening, a Torah lesson was held in the luxurious lounge of the Raffles The Palm Hotel in Dubai, attended by hundreds of local Jews, businessmen, public figures, tourists and Shova Israel students who came from around the world.

During the class, he sat next to Rabbi Pinto, the Israeli billionaire Eyal Waldman, who had previously met with Rabbi Pinto for a long conversation. Rabbi Pinto publicly praised Waldman and elaborated on his positive personality.

In addition, Rabbi Pinto met with Israel's ambassador to the UAE, Amir Haik, who told the Rebbe about the UAE's relations with Israel in general and Jews in particular. Rabbi Pinto congratulated the ambassador that he would be privileged to sanctify heaven with his blessed work.

As mentioned, Rabbi Pinto's visit to Dubai took place in preparation for the establishment of a new yeshiva in Dubai that will join the dozens of Shova Israel yeshivas and beit midrash scattered all over the world.

The Shova Israel institutions, led by Rabbi Pinto, number close to 100 yeshivas and beit midrash around the world, which serve as centers for spreading Judaism and chesed. In the coming months, the yeshiva in Dubai will also begin operating, which is expected to serve local Jews and thousands of Jewish and Israeli tourists.
