The fifty-year-old has not given any sign of life since March 31. Since her disappearance, disturbing elements have been accumulating, plunging the mother's relatives into anguish.

Concern is growing in the Vendée. Karine Pialle has now been nowhere to be found for more than six weeks. This mother of five children, would have left her family home in the locality of Malnoue (Vendée). Since then, his relatives have not been heard. Faced with this situation, a judicial investigation for kidnapping and sequestration against X was opened on April 17, learned Le Figaro from the prosecutor of the Republic of La Roche-sur-Yon, Emmanuelle Lepissier.

«

I am totally lost, I did not expect my mother to disappear, I do not understand, "laments to the Figaro, Eva-Louise, the first daughter of the disappeared. Originally from the Paris region, Karine came to settle with her husband Michel in the Vendée eighteen years ago. This brunette of 1m67 was last seen on March 27 at 16:30 by her husband and has not reappeared since.

"She texted my daughter to tell me she was leaving"

According to the version put forward by Michel Pialle, he and Karine were at their home shortly before the disappearance. For several years, she had not worked. She spent her days taking care of the interior of the house and her last two children, a girl who is in 6th grade and a deaf boy in 5th grade. Her husband also spent his days at home. He works in the resale of antique objects remotely. In a relationship for twenty years, they had separated but still lived under the same roof for four years.

«

I was at the bottom of my land to try to find my cat who had run away, when I returned to the house, there was no trace of Karine, "explains to the Figaro Mr. Pialle. Shortly after, he says he received a text message from his wife telling him: "I'm leaving I can't stand being two anymore but no longer in a relationship, they come to get me, I will come to take things". "There, I started to sweat, but I was expected to pick up my children from colleges," says the husband of the disappeared. Once he returned home, he said he realized he was leaving with personal belongings such as clothes, hygiene tools and the family book. "I admit I did not notice him preparing his departure, but since he is a fearful person, I told myself that in three four days she is back," he announces.

On March 1, the husband reportedly learned from a neighbor that Karine was accompanied by someone "met on the networks", a theory that seems likely at first glance because his car is still parked in front of the house.

Days pass and the mother still does not return to get the rest of her belongings as she had announced. However, she reportedly continued to chat with the youngest of her daughters via message. "On March 31 she told my daughter that she would not give news for a few more days because she was going to a hot country," says the husband. This would be Karine's last known communication with her family.

On April 3, Michel reported the disappearance of his wife to the gendarmerie. Almost a week later, his phone was found without a SIM card, along with a photo of his daughter in a carpool area in Maché. "It's very strange, when the mayor of the town gave me the phone, it was in perfect condition while it rained all day," says the husband of the disappeared. At the time of the find, Michel Pialle was not at home, he was going to Brem-sur-mer with his children and his mother.

Following this mysterious discovery, the investigation accelerates. On 10 April, the disappearance was deemed worrying by the police. It is entrusted to the research section of Nantes. The investigations were given to the prosecutor's office of Sables-d'Olonne which relinquished jurisdiction of the investigation in favor of that of La Roche-sur-Yon.

The next day, the Nantes SR decided to search Karine's home. "They took all the phones and computers in the house," says the husband, "they passed the ashes of my chimney through a sieve, divers probed my well and a helicopter flew over the area." The police also confiscated Mr. Pialle's weapons and his wife's car. "I had weapons at home because I practiced shooting, but they were all declared, I do not feel accused, I opened my door without fear," he explains. At present, none of the objects searched have been returned.

"We have no leads, it's terrible"

For Karine's relatives, questions remain. "I have no news of her, not even a message for my birthday while I have a fusional relationship with her, worries the daughter of the disappeared. A few weeks before, she was talking about coming to see me in the south with my father." Interviewed by Le Figaro, Karine's relatives describe a homebody woman with a poorly developed social life, extremely fearful and suspicious. "She would never have followed a person, it's impossible," says one of them. Besides, she hated social media or remote dating, so I don't see her chatting all night with someone."

Karine is also unanimously described as a woman devoted to her children. "My mother took care of my little deaf brother a lot, she did homework with him, she would never have let him go," says Eva-Louise. The phone found also anguishes the entourage. "My mother didn't even know how to put on speaker, so I can assure you that she would not know how to remove a SIM card," worries the eldest daughter. "We don't have any leads, it's terrible. We don't know if we should grieve or hope that she will come back, "laments one of her children.

On May 9, the gendarmerie issued a call for witnesses that so far has yielded nothing. For information is invited to call the following toll-free number: 0800 877 668.
