From 16 to 27 May, the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is back on the French Riviera. Every day at 21:30 pm, in addition to the screenings, meetings and events of the Official Selection held at the Palais des Festivals and the Cineum, the Festival de Cannes reinvents itself at nightfall and transforms the Macé beach of the Croisette, located opposite the Majestic Hotel, into an open-air cinema for the "Cinéma de la plage". Rose exhibition in Grasse
From Thursday until Sunday, the Rose exhibition takes place in Grasse, at the Villa Fragonard. This is the 51st edition of this event that highlights the flower of love par excellence. It allows creators and producers to present their flowers and confections.

The 4 seasons of Vivaldi at the Basilica of Menton
A concert full of emotions with the most beautiful works of Vivaldi, Bach, Caccini, Bizet in one of the most beautiful cities of the French Riviera. On Friday, at 20:30 pm, the Ensemble Musicâme France will take over the Basilica of St-Michel Archangel in Menton for a great classical concert in chamber music.
This sumptuous church located in the heart of the city, built in the seventeenth century, is known for its baroque architecture, dazzling interior decorations (sculptures, paintings and stained glass) and impressive bell tower. A concert in this place steeped in spirituality and history is the promise of a successful evening.

Nice is county to us: a musical show at the Alphabet theater
A musical show that tells the traditions of Nice to children, and also to the older ones: this is the promise of the play Nice nous est comté, performed at the Théâtre de l'Alphabet, in Nice, Thursday morning at 10:30. A light and educational piece on the May Festival, the Carnival of Nice, Catherine Ségurane, the Pan-Bagnat, or the instruments in Cougourdon... In short, everything that makes the culture of Nice.

Transhumance Festival in Saint-Valliers-de-Thiey
Transhumance is the periodic migration of livestock (cattle, cervids, equidae and sheep) between winter and summer pastures. Announcing the return of the summer season, this event has been celebrated for centuries in many valleys. The practice of transhumance was even included in the Inventory of French Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2020.
On Sunday, it is the sheep who will reach the highlands of Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, in the hinterland of Cannes. From 10am, the animals will be gathered at the Thiey space known as the "big meadow". Mowing demonstrations will take place until 15 p.m. Handicrafts stands, workshops and exhibitions will keep visitors busy throughout the day. And the greediest will be able to eat grills prepared on site in a friendly atmosphere. The start of the transhumance is scheduled for 17pm.
Free admission for all.
