During a large-scale check of several police units at the rest area of the A 92 Munich-Deggendorf near Langenpreising, two kilograms of marijuana were found in the trunk of the car of an Egyptian (32) and a Syrian (21).
Langenpreising - The Erding Criminal Investigation Department took over the investigation during the night and ordered the search of both apartments in the Straubing-Bogen district. There, reports the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria North, another 500 grams of narcotics and a handy iron baseball bat were secured. The Landshut District Court issued an arrest warrant for both men.
A total of 227 cars and 32 trucks were checked – and almost 300 people were in them. All traffic was routed through the parking lot and inspected there. 107 motorists got into trouble as soon as they entered the car – they were speeding too fast.
According to police, two drivers had cannabis with them, one was drugged. Furthermore, criminal proceedings were initiated against several people, including for forgery of documents, driving without a license and drunk driving. Another driver was able to avert an arrest warrant against him by paying the fine on the spot.
There were three Pakistanis in one vehicle. A deportation arrest warrant had been issued against one, a second's residence permit had expired, and the third had been issued for residence determination.
