The government's decision approving the coalition funds did not pass quietly in the opposition, and even against the background of the harsh dialogue between the camps, the harsh reactions stood out this time.

Former Prime Minister and opposition leader Yair Lapid said, "This government is distributing NIS 13.5 billion to itself, in coalition funds. Coalition funds have always been, but nothing comes close to that. It's corrupt, it's irresponsible, it's submission to shameless blackmail. NIS 13.5 billion is the money of the productive public in Israel. Instead of investing it in our children's education, in lowering the unbearable cost of living, in economic growth engines, in protecting daycare centers near Gaza, they invest it in buying votes. Instead of encouraging success and economic responsibility, they decided to rob the municipal taxes of the cities that lead the Israeli economy, and transfer the money to their voters. This money will only be used for one thing: to reward Smotrich and Goldknopf's friends. Only Avi Maoz will receive NIS 285 million to finance incitement against women and LGBT people. This is a continuation of the regime revolution by economic means. Netanyahu sold the Israeli economy and the future of our children to the ultra-Orthodox and Smotrich in order to remain in power."

Former Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman also attacked the decision. "The sixth Netanyahu government, led by Deri, Gafni and Goldknopf, continues to trample on the public that bears the burden and distributes billions to encourage idleness and increase ignorance among Israeli children, thereby widening the gaps in Israeli society. Instead of addressing the warnings of all professionals, who warn that these actions by the government constitute a negative incentive to enter the labor market; Instead of looking at the numbers and understanding that the loss of GDP from non-employment of Haredim in the coming decades will be NIS 6.7 trillion and could even lead to a 16% increase in direct taxes, Netanyahu and his partners are racing directly to crush the Israeli economy and the middle class."

Two months ago, thousands of demonstrators against the legal revolution came to protest in the city. The organizers of the protest handed out helmets to them, while the city's residents opened a "refreshments and drinks for our brothers in Tel Aviv." On the other hand, members of the reservist protest presented the residents with challah.

Later, demonstrators were seen arriving at the scene with a large sign that read, "Rabbi Shach is ashamed of you." Some of the demonstrators crossed the police fences, and clashes broke out between them and the security forces.

On the other hand, demonstrators from the other side arrived masked and shouted, "Get out of here." Later, they shouted at the demonstrators "Let your village burn" and "Come on Gaza," and fired fireworks and detonators at them from their homes. In response, the demonstrators confronted them and called them "terrorists."

The protest organizers said: "We are not against the public, but are coming to make it clear to the leadership that threatens us with coercion under the cover of the coup that we also have red lines." They added that "the ultra-Orthodox leadership is leading the legislation that will destroy the Israeli economy, the people's army and lead to a deep rift in the nation. They must immediately stop the dangerous legislation and announce that they will not lend their hand to legislation destroying the Temple."
