Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU) has assured the police of his "full support" in view of the eviction of the camp of tree squatters in Wuhlheide Park. He also emphasized this "in view of the possible dangers posed by the occupation," as Wegner told the dpa news agency on Wednesday morning. "The police have carefully considered this decision and made it wisely.
