With the second resignation of Cristina the candidacy of Sergio Massa is deflated to empower Wado de Pedro

The Vice President now doubts that the best option for Kirchnerism is to go after the Minister of Economy. 'Enough of inventions, we need someone of our own even losing', they say she was heard saying. The Interior Minister gains momentum and Kicillof would remain in the province for the real operation: resist.

The trailer of Cristina Kichner's second resignation began to be projected in a room in La Plata, this Monday night spring. It happened before half a dozen spectators, in the residence of a high Buenos Aires minister, with other senior Peronist leaders and Maximo Kirchner sitting in the front row. "We saw something changed, very motivated," they reminded the son of the Vice President.

That feeling that something was going to happen was repeated a day later, this Tuesday, at the Peronist Congress in the Ferro microstadium. With his eyes and some gesture, Wado de Pedro managed to gather four mayors who decide elections by the number of inhabitants they govern: Gustavo Menéndez (Merlo), Mariano Cascallares (Almirante Brown), Leonardo Nardini (Malvinas Argentinas) and Federico Achaval (Pilar),

Cristina believes Massa "is doing what he has to do." But he also believes that he cannot defend the adjustment and its proximity to the IMF:

"He brought us together for a long time in the middle of Congress. And if we saw Máximo motivated, Wado was pure emotion. His gestures indicated that something was going to happen. A couple of hours later, Cristina publishes her new letter," one of those present reconstructs to Clarín.

The backbone of the analysis most agreed upon in the PJ and La Cámpora is that Cristina was convinced that "if you have to lose, let it be with someone of ours. Massa is doing what he has to do, but I can't defend the adjustment. Nor her almost carnal dependence on the IMF," they say she was heard saying.

The flirtation of a possible candidacy, with the clamor operation that Cristina encouraged until recently, blocked De Pedro. "His figure is pure gravity. It crushes anyone within Kirchnerism who seeks to emerge. Wado was destroyed by the very chance that she could play. At least two months ago his image is ironed, even in some places it had begun to fall. With Cristina without all the centrality, Wado can begin to show himself empowered, "summarizes a Peronist legislator with a high position in his Chamber who speaks often with Maximo, the mayors and Kicillof.

Cristina would be angry about what several remark as an "operation" by militant journalist Gustavo Silvestre and Deputy Eduardo Valdez.

Another head of the Buenos Aires PJ [Justicialist Party], who usually has a reserved place at the small table, points out that Cristina "was crazy because of an apparent operation in which journalist Gustavo Silvestre and Deputy Guillermo Valdes participated."

He refers to the fact that first the militant communicator of C5N as "the argentine pope" (as Valdes is called because of his friendship with Francis) assured a few days apart that Cristina was going to announce her candidacy on May 25.

"Cristina has just deactivated with a stroke of the pen (NdR: actually a "tweet") the act of the 25th and all the operative clamor of the Cuervito (for Larroque). It turned them upside down. Eye that although Maximo was happy for the volantazo of his mother, I think this affects him. It is still very premature, but for La Cámpora it is a strong loss of firepower in the negotiations that it will have to face to achieve places in the Conurbano lists. The mayors have gray hair and the truth is that more belly than back, but even so when they smell someone's weakness they use it to gain ground, "describes another Peronist leader who knew how to be a powerful mayor and who was in the Pejotista Congress of Ferro.

Axel Kicillof would be armored to be able to go in search of his reelection.

After Cristina's letter, several continue to spin the dots. They highlight Massa and his strong speech last week. "Sergio plays spot with submarines. Something was seeing when he decided to say, in the tone of a candidate, that there was no place for any more quilombo. And he refused to hold a Primary in the Frente de Todos. Evidently, he was ahead of Cristina. Somehow, the very crooked, saw that Cristina was going to deflate him to strengthen Wado. Also remember that Cristina has been defending a PASO for some time, perhaps thinking that Massa competes with Wado, "analyzes the same leader, a view also shared by other mayors of the GBA.

The only thing that seems to be clear in all this coven, is that Axel Kicillof is untouchable. He would have already managed to shield himself from internal fights. Cristina every day shows more that she rejects that the Governor could face a defeat as a presidential candidate. For his best political creation (light years ahead of Wado himself, Maximo or any other camporista salieri), the vice president would guarantee his desire to fight for reelection. And even several in La Plata are dusting off the chance to advance the elections with, for them, some wink from Cristina herself.
