With the second resignation of Cristina the candidacy of Sergio Massa is deflated to empower Wado de Pedro

The trailer of Cristina Kichner's second resignation began to be projected in a room in La Plata, this Monday night spring. It happened before half a dozen spectators, in the residence of a high Buenos Aires minister, with other senior Peronist leaders and Maximo Kirchner sitting in the front row. "We saw something changed, very motivated," they reminded the son of the Vice President.

With his eyes and some gesture, Wado de Pedro managed to gather four mayors who decide elections by the number of inhabitants they govern: Gustavo Menéndez (Merlo), Mariano Cascallares (Almirante Brown), Leonardo Nardini (Malvinas Argentinas) and Federico Achaval (Pilar),

Cristina believes Massa "is doing what he has to do." But he also believes that he cannot defend the adjustment and its proximity to the IMF:

The flirtation of a possible candidacy, with the clamor operation that Cristina encouraged until recently, blocked De Pedro. "His figure is pure gravity. Cristina would be angry about what several remark as an "operation" by militant journalist Gustavo Silvestre and Deputy Eduardo Valdez.

Another head of the Buenos Aires PJ [Justicialist Party], who usually has a reserved place at the small table, points out that Cristina "was crazy because of an apparent operation in which journalist Gustavo Silvestre and Deputy Guillermo Valdes participated."

He refers to the fact that first the militant communicator of C5N as "the argentine pope" (as Valdes is called because of his friendship with Francis) assured a few days apart that Cristina was going to announce her candidacy on May 25.

And even several in La Plata are dusting off the chance to advance the elections with, for them, some wink from Cristina herself.
