This Thursday, May 18, Michel Drucker spoke for the first time since his heart surgery. The host of "Vive dimanche" chose the show "Les auditeurs ont la parole" hosted by Pascal Praud on RTL. "This house is yours, this red house is beautiful, it's a family," says Pascal Praud to greet his guest. "The whole team that runs RTL and M6 embraces you and we wish you the best dear Michel," he adds warmly.

"There are magnificent people at RTL," says Michel Drucker. He quotes in particular Laurent Ruquier who officiates on the radio since 2014, after succeeding Philippe Bouvard at the helm of the "Big Heads". "When you've known RTL, you can't go anywhere else. I have experienced both. I stayed 10 years at RTL and I went to Europe 1 because I was told for the image... I went there, I have mixed memories. I learned everything at RTL, everything. Decentralization, offshoring. I was going to watch the games. I was still a sports reporter, I know all the France by heart, "recalls the host.
A funny statement
"That's why you should never leave RTL," retorts Pascal Praud. An astonishing statement since the host should leave the red radio to... go to Europe 1 next September! A radio station that is part of the Lagardère group that Vivendi, a group of billionaire Vincent Bolloré, is preparing to buy. A real synergy since Pascal Praud already officiates on CNews, the channel of the Canal group that Vivendi already owns. Indeed, every day of the week, he hosts "L'Heure des pros".
Pascal Praud should recover the mid-day slot and would therefore become the competitor of the "listeners have the floor" that he currently hosts. RTL management has yet to decide on the name of his successor.
