Fatal accident on state road 2064 in the municipality of Münsing (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district): For a 24-year-old, any help came too late on Thursday afternoon.
Münsing - A 24-year-old from Königsmoos in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen lost her life on Thursday afternoon in an accident on state road 2064 in the municipality of Münsing (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district). According to police, the young woman was pillion on a motorcycle, the rider had lost control of the Ducati. The man (59 from Rohrbach an der Ilm (district of Pfaffenhofen) suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in the accident.

Following first aid by the ambulance service, he had to be flown by helicopter to the accident hospital in Murnau.

Ducati rider (59) loses power over his motorcycle
According to initial findings of the Wolfratshausen police department, the duo was traveling on the state road from St. Heinrich in the direction of Beuerberg at around 15 p.m. During an overtaking manoeuvre, the 59-year-old apparently realized too late that a car was coming towards him. The attempt to swerve at the last second led to the tragic accident: the Ducati veered off the road to the right, the pillion passenger was allegedly thrown from the seat against a tree. For them, any help came too late.
The police closed the state road in the area of the accident site for more than two hours. (cce)
