The head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, analyzed the decision of Vice President Cristina Kirchner not to be a candidate in the next elections and left a harsh criticism.
"Cristina's is tragicomic: she says she is not going to be a candidate for president as a great renunciation. She is not going to be a candidate because nobody votes for her, or very few vote for her," she said on channel 24/7.
The Buenos Aires president was categorical in pointing out that the "Kirchner government" failed with Cristina Kirchner and Alberto Fernández at the head, and that is why the President also renounced to go for a second term.

"Argentina is suffering as never before in history as a result of this government that has already failed, because of the president and his vice president," he emphasized.
To exemplify, he recalled the figure of 8.4% that INDEC released for the month of April. "We have to work to restore hope to the people," Rodriguez Larreta added.
Insisting with his criticism of the national government, the pre-candidate for president questioned that, due to the economic crisis exacerbated by inflation, "a father cannot give the minimum gift to his children during the month, an ice cream."
"Imagine the frustration, the embarrassment for a parent to go through this situation," he continued.
Rodríguez Larreta was asked about the cut in public spending and the mayor of Buenos Aires assured that he will "reduce by half" the number of ministries and also the pensions of privilege, and gave as an example the one charged by Cristina Kirchner.
"You have more than 20 ministries, you have to reduce them by half, secretariats, undersecretaries, drivers, contractors, advisers are lowered, it is not only the salary of a minister, it is an entire structure that ceases to exist, that is unnecessary expense, "he remarked.
And he added: "Or a retirement of privilege that the vice president charges is a scandal, they are unnecessary expenses, and just like those there are many."
