Huge defense deal: Elbit Systems won a $305 million contract today for the supply of PULS artillery rocket launcher systems to the Dutch army

Elbit Systems announced Thursday that as part of an agreement between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Dutch Ministry of Defense, it has won a contract worth $305 million to supply Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS) artillery rocket launcher systems to the Dutch military. The contract will be executed over a period of five years.

Under the contract, Elbit Systems will provide 20 PULS artillery rocket launcher systems integrated into the COMMIT platform, as well as a package of rockets and missiles of various ranges, and training and support services.

Elbit's PULS system is designed with an open architecture concept, which supports future growth capabilities, the ability to integrate existing C4i solutions, and the flexibility to adapt the system to specific customer requirements.

The system provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution that supports the firing of both free rockets and precision-guided rockets and missiles, at ranges from 12 km to 300 km. The PULS launcher is a fully integrated launcher mounted on a wide range of wheel and caterpillar platforms, enabling a significant reduction in maintenance and training costs for existing platform fleets.
