After the ultimatums – the Prime Minister in a message to his partners at a joint event, one of them responded: "There is not and will not be a better government. It's time to stop threatening, stop climbing trees," Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday evening at a Merkaz HaRav meeting, with two of the same government members who have expressed their displeasure in recent days in the audience – Ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir (Otzma Yehudit) and Meir Frosh (Torah Judaism).

Netanyahu responded to threats made in recent days by Agudat Israel to resign from their positions in the government and return to the Knesset and vote against the budget, as well as the boycott of this week's plenum for the third time by Otzma Yehudit and Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition Minister Meir Frosh responded to Netanyahu: "I would like to address what was said here earlier by honorable Prime Ministers. Indeed, this government is better than many governments that have served here in the past. But the commitment to the world of Torah, to Jewish tradition, to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, must also be in deeds and not only in words. If this is indeed the case, we should vote in favor of the budget, maybe the news will come out tonight."

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionism) was also there. The remarks were made as part of an event marking Jerusalem Day. Netanyahu added: "We promised to restore national honor to the people of Israel and we fulfilled."

Both Ben-Gvir and Frosh are dissatisfied with some of the items in the state budget. Ben-Gvir is not satisfied with the allocations for the development of the Negev and Galilee, and Frosh's Agudat Israel is demanding more than half a billion shekels from the treasury.

Also present at the event was Rabbi Leo Dee, who lost his two daughters and his wife in an attack in the Jordan Valley in April.
