Münsing - On Thursday afternoon, a 2064-year-old woman lost her life in a traffic accident on state road 24, and the driver was seriously injured.
According to the police report, a serious accident occurred around 14:30 p.m. on Thursday on state road 2064 in the direction of Beuerberg (Münsing munning municipality, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district). According to the current state of knowledge of the Wolfratshausen police department, the 59-year-old motorcyclist from the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm drove his motorcycle from Sankt Heinrich in the direction of Beuerberg.
Motorcyclist loses control after overtaking during evasive maneuver
When overtaking a car of a 40-year-old Munich resident in a slight left-hand bend, the motorcyclist overlooked an oncoming car of a 51-year-old man from Baden-Württemberg. During the subsequent evasive manoeuvre, the motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and veered off the road to the right. For the 24-year-old pillion passenger from the district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, any help came too late. "She succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene of the accident," reported an officer from the Wolfratshausen police station. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by helicopter with serious, previously unknown injuries.

Due to the accident recording, the road was closed for several hours. The investigations into the circumstances of the accident are being conducted by the Wolfratshausen Police Inspectorate, under the direction of the Munich II Public Prosecutor's Office.
