Several patrols moved out to Benediktbeuern on Thursday evening. A woman had reported a knife attack. On the ground, however, things were quite different.
Benediktbeuern - On Thursday at 19:27 p.m., a 53-year-old woman from Benediktbeuern dialed the emergency call several times. She told officers that she found her son-in-law heavily intoxicated lying on the floor in his apartment.

On the next call, the woman reported that the son-in-law had been stabbed. As a result, relief measures were immediately initiated, several patrols were ordered to the scene, the police reported in the press report.
Woman must expect to be charged - cost assumption is being examined
On the spot, however, the situation was completely different: The police officers found the alleged victim safely. The woman must now expect to be charged with misuse of emergency calls. The assumption of the high deployment costs is also likely to come to the woman. This is currently being examined.
