It's good that the Galit Gutman affair came into the world, it's good that she made a mistake, it's good that there was an uproar and it's good that she apologized. This problematic discourse, which has been raging for a long time, should have reached some boiling point, exploded and overflowed. Only in this way can we express clearly and unequivocally the decisive determination that hate speech towards the ultra-Orthodox is unacceptable, flawed and illegitimate, and must disappear.

There is a sharp ideological disagreement between ultra-Orthodox and secular Jews. And despite its acuteness, it can exist without the state burning. Let's tell the truth – the friction points are decreasing. As the haredi public grows, there is a de facto separation in an organic way – haredi cities that don't bother anyone, and secular cities. In the mixed cities, almost no friction was recorded.

As for the Haredi influence on the character of the state, this is reduced to the bare minimum in the form of a status quo on religious issues. You can argue about it, but you can also live with it.

The issue of recruitment is indeed a wound that can and should be resolved, but the use of the terms "parasitism" and "evasion" is evil and outrageous. This is a decision that, even if it is unjust, is ideological rather than utilitarian. The accusation of not sharing the tax burden is childish. We live in a country where taxes are determined by income. Those with high incomes sometimes hold those with low incomes.

And don't tell me about the labor market. In an ultra-Orthodox family unit where the husband does not work, the wife works. I'm not even willing to hear about budgets, because that's what a coalition looks like, unfortunately, whose composition influences the diversion of state resources to all sorts of places.

If they listen to my opinion, no one will get a shekel. But if everyone gets - then everyone gets. And a reality in which people take to the streets to demonstrate against children's education budget is sick to me, and that's part of the general trend. And in any case - all the aforementioned clauses can be debated and debated. So what is the source of the panic? What is the source of the madness? And what is the source of profanity? Nothing is.

The bush was flooded

The answer is a sad combination of disconnect and alienation, fear and incitement. And each of them is a sick evil in itself. All this has to pass from the world, it just can't go on. Not because of the ultra-Orthodox, but because of Israeli society, which hasn't been in places like this for so long. There can be no legitimacy for such feelings towards a group of one million people, which is an important and main part of Israeli society.

All ideological debates must exist and must exist, and they are also important; But when everything is immersed in hatred and raging - then everything is wrong, no argument can take place, so first we will deal with hatred. Therefore, it is good that this discourse was created and flooded and overflowed. Let's decide that from now on, hatred of the ultra-Orthodox (and hatred in general) is outlawed. Starting from Rosh Chodesh Sivan 5723. Good date. I'm sure most of you agree with me. Don't be fooled, my brothers.
