This is one of the components of the investigation opened shortly after the end of the mandate of Philippe Doucet (PS) at the head of the town hall of Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise). His former deputy, in charge of sport and youth, Mouloud Bousselat (formerly PCF) was sentenced Tuesday, May 9, 2023 by the Criminal Court of Paris for favoritism. As part of a guilty plea procedure, he negotiated a six-month suspended prison sentence, a fine of 10,000 euros, including 5,000 euros suspended and two years of ineligibility. He will also have to pay 250 euros in damages and 450 euros in legal costs to the Anticor association which is a civil party.
