In the latest edition of the ZDF television garden, the cameras suddenly go crazy. Because they only show unedited film material.
Mainz – On Sunday afternoon (21 May), Andrea Kiewel (57) once again invited all sorts of well-known guests to her home in the ZDF television garden. The spectators on Mainz's Lerchenberg got to see a colorful program of games and music in bright sunshine and could also look forward to "Let's Dance" juror Joachim Llambi (58) as co-presenter. For the fans at home, however, there was an embarrassing mistake in the broadcast towards the end of the show.
At the theme show 80s and 90s: Several breakdowns in the ZDF television garden with Andrea Kiewel
The third edition of the current Fernsehgarten season was all about the motto of the 80s and 90s and to celebrate the two legendary decades, musical greats such as Guildo Horn (60) and Oli P. (44) did the honors on the open-air stage. To sway with your loved ones in such fantastic weather and an exuberant atmosphere - it doesn't get much better than that.
However, it wouldn't be the TV garden without the odd glitch. Andrea Kiewel's wet pants caused a particularly sensation on social media after the show, but as if that weren't enough, the next mishap occurs towards the end of the show. This time, however, it is not Kiwi or one of her guests who is responsible, but the camera team of the popular ZDF format.

)Poor picture quality and superimposed timestamps: TV garden viewers see raw footage
As the TV garden draws to a close, Andrea Kiewel presents the next episode, which is all about the flea market. The camera pans over crowds of visitors who are already busily rummaging through the goods – but something seems to be wrong with the shot. The quality looks worse than in the rest of the show, and technical terms such as "FULL CTRL" and timestamps can be seen at the top and bottom of the video, while a green slider flickers up and down on the right side of the image.

It seems as if ZDF accidentally broadcast the unedited raw material from the TV garden – unless they have tried an experimental new way of transmitting images. However, it should come as no surprise that there can be small mistakes on live TV. Just last week, Andrea Kiewel had to apologize to the Fernsehgarten audience for the chaos caused by the director.
