A 17-year-old boy and a 50-year-old man from East Jerusalem were arrested on suspicion of assaulting and imprisoning a relative and her daughters; Their detention was extended today (Sunday) until Tuesday.
The two, residents of the a-Tur neighborhood in the eastern part of the capital, were detained by Jerusalem District Shalem police and Border Police officers on suspicion of assaulting and imprisoning their relatives in the family's home. The woman sustained bruises. Shortly after receiving the report, the forces located the house, rescued the woman and arrested the two suspects.
