"Kate treats him [William] like the fourth child because he's prone to tantrums," the insider said. Still, Kate Middleton can't avoid every argument either.

When her children George, Charlotte and Louis go over the top at public appointments, Kate Middleton has a simple trick to bring them back to their senses. "It was drummed into the kids that when mom says, 'Let's take a break,' she actually means, 'This is very serious, and if you don't stop fooling around and embarrassing me, there will be consequences when we come back to the palace. That's why it works. If Kate says there's going to be consequences, then there really are," a former employee said in "Gilded Youth" by author Tom Quinn, according to newsweek.com. Maybe the sentence will also help with husband William.

"They have arguments," Tom Quinn admits. "It's not a perfect marriage. They have a fierce quarrel." However, the situation with William and Kate would never escalate. "But where some couples argue and throw heavy vases at each other, William and Kate throw pillows one after another. It always stays under control," emphasizes royal expert Quinn. The reason for the civilized disagreements was also identified by the British author. Prince William and Kate Middleton would have taken the motto of Queen Elizabeth (96, † 2022) as a model: "Never complain, never explain".
