FIGAROVOX/CHRONICLE - The lawyer criticizes the documentary, broadcast this May 21 on France 5, entitled "Lola case, chronicle of a recovery". According to him, by accusing the "fachosphere" of having instrumentalized this news item, a part of the media left seeks to hide reality.

Saturday, May 20, was commemorated, the sad first anniversary of the largely ignored assassination of Dr. Alban Gervaise, whose throat was slit by cries of "Allah Akhbar" while waiting for his children in front of their Catholic school in Marseille. Two days ago, the group "Lille Antifa" tweeted with impunity, in the middle of pictorial flames: "The only church that illuminates is the one that burns". Last week a couple from Nice was attacked by a large gang. They were violently beaten and called "dirty French" and "dirty white". My imagination is powerless to describe the media and political reaction if, hypothetically, the opposite scenario had come true.

The far left is characterized by a permanent ideological negation, which evolves painfully only under the blows of reality: insecurity is a security fantasy, immigration is only an unhealthy feeling, the Marrakesh Treaty a "fake conspiracy theorist", Islamic anti-Semitism an Islamophobic myth, Islamo-leftism has no reality, "wokism" does not exist but "anti-wokism" on the other hand is very dangerous... Moreover, if there is an extreme right in full expansion, it is difficult to distinguish the political existence of an extreme left. We know the "fachosphere", but there is neither a "Bolsho-sphere" nor an "Islamo-sphere" in the lexical field of the media. The same is obviously true with regard to anti-white or anti-French racism. Not only do they not exist, but those who do mention them should not exist in the media either.

The contemporary period is unique in human history. This is the first time that the intruder is camped as a victim and his host forced as a "bastard".

Gilles William Goldnadel

For twenty years, notably with The New Breviary of Hate (Ramsay 2001) and Reflections on the White Question (JC Gawsewitch 2011), I have striven to show that this particular racism has flourished in the shadow of the unconscious shame of Western man of having the same skin color as the "Antichrist of post-Christian times", Adolf Hitler. The hatred of the Western nation-state and its sovereign institutions was born in this obsessive, almost religious breeding ground of an anti-fascism gone mad.

Ten years ago, I would not have believed that anti-white racism would take on such a hateful dimension. Here again, we must question collective psychological trauma. The Holocaust was experienced as a new Crucifixion in the post-Christian era. In France, the Adama Traoré case gave rise to an attempt to blame French society for "systemic racism" and accused of cultivating "white privilege". Who could have imagined only ten years ago that we would accept meetings forbidden to whites? Or that we would like to bring down statues?

Under this supposedly systemic racism, it must be understood that we find the "French beauf" of the 80s, the racist "Dupont Lajoie", a little revamped, without his beret or his baguette, or his litron of wine, but always with his congenital racism towards the Other. The contemporary period is unique in human history. This is the first time that the intruder is camped as a victim and his host forced as a "bastard". Needless to say, this is a white Western host, now decreed unworthy to claim its own identity and national borders.

The "non-white", his hereditary and therefore unsuspected victim, is not deprived of such rights. The Brazilian white does not have good press when it enters the Amazonian Indians. The Arab people of Palestine have a legitimate right to their nation-state. The notion of ethnic identity creating territorial rights is denied only to whites. The vicious circle of racism is decidedly hellish.

The fate of the white victim, and of her alone, is thus placed by the media doxa in this rather diabolical ideological alternative: concealment or the accusation of exploitation.

Gilles William Goldnadel

It is in this circular framework that this Sunday, with great publicity reinforcements, the fifth channel of the public service broadcasted, on May 21, a program soberly entitled "The Factory of Lies" and whose theme was to denounce the "fachosphere" which would have outrageously instrumentalized a news item: the death of little Lola. But one question comes to mind. If we admit that it is reprehensible to have focused on the nationality of the murderer of little Lola, how to qualify the political exploitation, without common measure, of another news item like that of George Floyd?

Under what prism, on the other hand, to look at the endless instrumentalization of the Traoré affair that saw two Ministers of Justice and the Interior excuse a banned demonstration, in the middle of Covid, on the forecourt of the Paris court? I don't think a TV show is being prepared to investigate a possible exploitation by the far left or the movement "The Indigenous of the Republic" of an unestablished accusation of police violence, taxed without any evidence of racism? The fate of the white victim, and of her alone, is thus placed by the media doxa in this rather diabolical ideological alternative: concealment or the accusation of exploitation. No one will prevent me, however, from commemorating the hidden assassination of Alban. Nor to pity little Lola.
