A serious complaint took place last week in the kindergarten of a bilingual school in the town of Loma Verde, Escobar, where two families reported that a well-known member of that educational community made obscene exhibitions in front of their children and other classmates. The defendant, preventively, was removed from his function.
According to the information that the news portal El Día de Escobar was able to collect from different sources, two 5-year-old boys agreed to tell their parents that a man masturbated in front of them and other classmates in the kindergarten room, stimulating himself with a video of sexual content that he also showed them.
The fact was denounced on Tuesday at the Police Station for Women and the Family of Escobar by the parents of the boys, from which a summary was instructed for "obscene exhibitions." The investigation was carried out by the Functional Unit of Instruction No. 4.
The families were interviewed at the Prosecutor's Office and the Directorate of Children, Adolescents and Family of the Municipality. "Both decided to withdraw their children from that establishment," said relatives.
The situation acquires a capital gravity within the institution, since the accused is none other than the founder, owner and legal representative of the school.
With 34 years of experience, the San Jorge school is on 1174 Leguizamo Street, half a block from the West Collector. At its secondary level it has a bilingual Spanish-English baccalaureate and German as a second foreign language.
As indicated by the protocol in situations of this nature, the school issued a statement that it disseminated internally to teachers and families.
"In response to two presentations from families of initial level, based on the stories of their children, we have initiated actions to clarify the situation through an internal investigation," the authorities said.
They also indicated that they reported to the initial level inspector, made a presentation to the Children's Directorate and filed a complaint with the Women's Commissioner.
"We will continue the actions of the case, always taking care of the integrity of each member of the community, considering the best interests of children as the fundamental guide," they said, without mentioning details of the episode or referring to the accused.
Another particular aspect of this case is that the highest authorities of the establishment are direct relatives of the accused.
