An MDA team called to the scene performed medical examinations on him, at the end of which he was pronounced dead. The driver of the offending vehicle was taken to hospital in light condition.
MDA paramedic Ofek Aqrawi said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road and a vehicle with an impact further on, about 50 meters away." Aqrawi said the man was already on the side of the road: "He was unconscious with no breath and no pulse, with severe multi-system trauma, we performed medical tests, he had no signs of life and we had to pronounce him dead."
