The battle for the better ratings goes into the second round: Andrea Kiewel competed on Sunday (21.05.) with the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten" against "Immer wieder sonntags" with Stefan Mross.
Mainz /Rust - Even before the official ratings were available on Monday, Andrea Kiewel was beating the drums at the 80s and 90s television garden. A sweat moment on the Lerchenberg, in which viewers noticed a dark spot on the presenter's buttocks, made headlines.

In the Europapark in Rust, pop singer Stefan Mross took it easy. Anna-Carina Woitschack's ex only made an embarrassing slip of the tongue, while Kiwi again produced a firework of sayings and incidents in Mainz.

But who was able to attract the most viewers in front of the TV screens with his show? Like last week, Andrea Kiewel was able to attract more TV viewers in front of the screens. A total of 1.69 million people watched the TV garden. In the case of Stefan Mross, only 1.38 million people watched the first. At 20:15 p.m., the day's winner was Tatort from Munich with 8.72 million viewers.

Last Sunday, Kiewel and Mross started the summer season. While the ZDF television garden broadcasts from Mainz, "Immer wieder sonntags" is recorded in the Europapark Rust. Last Sunday (May 7, 2023), Andrea Kiewel was able to achieve the better ratings. But what did it look like this Sunday (14 May)?
Kiewel vs. Mross: Clear winner in the ratings duel between Fernsehgarten and "Immer wieder sonntags"
1.82 million people tuned in to the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten". This meant that Andrea Kiewel was also ahead of Stefan Mross in episode 2. In the first, 1.34 million people watched "Again and again on Sundays", i.e. almost 500,000 viewers less.

The market share in TV was 19.2% for the Fernsehgarten, "Again and again on Sundays achieves 16.5%. In the target group of 14 to 49-year-olds, Kiewel was again able to score Mross. The dinosaurs in the TV business mainly reach an older TV audience with their weekly shows.
