Will the long-awaited visit finally happen?: UAE Ambassador Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Khaja met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday and invited him to participate in the climate conference to be held in the country.
At a meeting held in the Prime Minister's Office, the ambassador delivered a letter on behalf of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed with an official invitation to the Prime Minister and President Herzog to participate in the climate conference to be held in Dubai this November. The prime minister said he thanked the ambassador for the invitation.

If the trip goes ahead, it will be Netanyahu's first public visit to the country – about three years after he signed the Abraham Accords on the White House lawn, agreements that established relations between the two countries.
