A senior citizen with dementia has been missing in Vaterstetten for almost 24 hours. The police are asking for help from the population in the search.
Vaterstetten - Urgent search for a senior citizen who has been missing for almost 24 hours: Since yesterday, Sunday, May 21, around 21 p.m., 75-year-old Howard Senft has been missing from a Vaterstetten retirement home. This was reported by the Poing police late on Monday afternoon.
Mr. Senft was last seen at 21 p.m. by the nursing staff. Since then, his trace has been lost.
A large-scale search in the Vaterstetten area with the search dog squadron as well as several checks of his last reference points in the greater Munich area were unsuccessful, according to the officials. Now the officials are hoping for clues from the population.
Presumably, the missing person wanders around barefoot
He is dressed in a black winter jacket and light-colored jeans. According to police, the missing person is demented and is probably wandering around barefoot and disoriented.
