The France Insoumise has just appointed Delphine Fenasse, deputy in Fontenay-sous-Bois and Djamel Arrouche, former candidate for the legislative elections, as

Val-de-Marne already has four LFI parliamentarians. And not least with the boss in the Assembly, Mathilde Panot, the very media Louis Boyard, the representative of the invisibles Rachel Keke or the coordinator of the last presidential program Clémence Guetté. In September, will they be joined by a senator?

This Monday evening, the movement will participate in the meeting initiated by the PCF with all the forces of the left, with a view to uniting with the senatorial elections. Three seats are at stake. The only solution to keep them is a union list. "The recent election of a right-wing majority to the departmental council forces all left, ecological and social forces to show responsibility to strengthen our common struggles in the Senate," said the network of elected officials France Insoumise and citizens of Val-de-Marne in a statement.

And so for LFI, it goes through "a Nupes list". "We were able to do it in the National Assembly and in many of our communes in Val-de-Marne, we should be able to do it even more in the Senate," says Delphine Fenasse.

The PCF that leads the list is "legitimate" according to the Insoumise

The deputy mayor of Fontenay-sous-Bois has just been appointed leader for the September election, as well as Djamel Arrouche, former candidate for the 2017 legislative elections. With the objective of "recognizing the political weight of LFI". "As in the national assembly, these lists must be made from the moment when all partners are represented to the extent of their political weight, insists the elected representative. We would not understand nationally if we had no senators in Val-de-Marne or elsewhere. »

But where could the Unsubmissive be placed? In their eyes, it is "legitimate" that the list is led by the PCF, "in view of the political weight and the work accomplished", in this case by outgoing Senator Pascal Savoldelli, appointed last week by 95% of communist militants. "For the rest, we will see what emerges from our exchanges," adds Delphine Fenasse.

Especially since several unknowns remain, with divisions among the socialists, who have appointed Jonathan Kienzlen and Sarah Taillebois. But a possible parachuting of the senator of the Oise Laurence Rossignol is also discussed. A national office is due to validate the investitures on Tuesday. But no white smoke seemed to be emerging on Monday.
