An argument over the use of the bathroom of a pizzeria located in San Justo almost ended in tragedy. The man who intended to use the service ended up knocked out by a trumpet on the sidewalk of the gastronomic trade by one of the managers of the place. The assailant was arrested and released a few hours later, and the victim is still in the hospital.
The security cameras of the place recorded everything that happened.
The violent event had its development during the weekend in the pizzeria "La Doménica", a popular food place in the area located on Paraguay and Arrieta streets.
There, according to the testimonies, 62-year-old Mario Vallejos entered the restaurant and requested to use one of the bathrooms of the place.
Faced with the refusal of one of the managers, they began with a heated discussion that began inside the store, but continued on the sidewalk with the untimely reaction of one of the managers, Walter Villaverde (57), who being out of the store did not hesitate to hit him in the jaw.
The blow was so accurate that Vallejos fell almost to death weight on the sidewalk and was unconscious: the back of his neck hit the ground.
"I hit him with a fist because he insulted me and, when he fell, he hit the cordon of the sidewalk," explained the employee of the store, according to the site Primer Plano.
The version exposed by Villaverde coincides with the two security cameras that recorded the event. And it was the same testimony that the aggressor gave to prosecutor Gastón Bianchi, after being delayed at the police station.
The Prosecutor's Office granted him freedom a few hours later, although he was charged in a case labeled as "injuries".
Investigative sources confirmed that the 62-year-old man who was left lying unconscious on the floor was transferred to the San Justo polyclinic. There, he was admitted with head trauma and a cut on his scalp.
Hours later and for having social work, the assaulted was referred to a private sanatorium in the city where, as reported, "evolves favorably."
