How to make noodle stew with minced meat

Then add the liquid that can be broth or tomato sauce, for example. You can add vegetables such as carrot, potato, sweet potato or diced sweet potato at this time.

How to make rice stew with potatoes

You can start with a classic sofrito, add tomato sauce (puree or cubed tomato), bay leaf, ground chili, paprika, oregano and the fresh herbs you get. Basil, for example, would look great. If desired, you can add a cube of vegetable broth and a little water.

Potatoes are washed, peeled and diced to the desired size. Now, they go straight to the pot and depending on its size, the rice is also added that will take about 12 or 15 minutes to finish cooking. If the potato cubes are large, they should be cooked at least 5 minutes before adding the rice.

Meanwhile, the sauce thickens and the house begins to perfume with the characteristic smell of stews.

Attention: the style of rice chosen will influence the density of the stew. If you use a washed long grain rice or the famous yellow box that is not passed, these have little starch and will not provide any "creaminess". On the other hand, if you opt for a grain like Doble Carolina, the preparation will be thicker, like a risotto.
