An agent of the Police of the province of Buenos Aires killed with four shots in the back a young man who tried to steal his motorcycle in the Buenos Aires town of La Reja, Moreno party. The man, who was in plain clothes, was arrested.
The exact moment was captured by a municipal security camera located at a bus stop. In the video, filmed at 20.32 on Sunday at the intersection of Lugones and Payro streets, you can see that the policeman was with his girlfriend on top of a motorcycle when two criminals, also on a motorcycle, put him at par. The companion pointed a supposed firearm at them and demanded that they stop in the middle of the street.
The officer braked without resistance and let one of the assailants get on his motorcycle. The woman quickly walked away from the place. For his part, the policeman began to walk and, after a few steps, took his service weapon from his waist and shot five times at the assailant, who tried to run to save himself. However, he was shot four times and died instantly, while his accomplice managed to escape.
According to judicial sources, the agent, who provides services in Ituzaingó, called 911 immediately after what happened.
Personnel from the local police station arrived at the scene of the crime and found the suspect dead, who was seized a fake firearm that was composed of two twisted pipes and also the ID of a person he had assaulted minutes before. The fatal victim was identified as Gabriel Emiliano Ledesma, 18.

One of the shots hit one of the criminals, who fell wounded in the dock. He was then transferred by the SAME to the Piñero hospital, where he was found dead.
The deceased offender had a criminal record. Among other cases, he had a robbery with possession of a weapon of war, in February 2021, and threats, in March of this year.
