The AI images were created using engagement analytics on social media data, and the results are interesting. The study was conducted by The Bulimia Project.
The eating disorder awareness group warned that the results are "largely unrealistic" in depictions of body types, Daily Star reports.

Meanwhile, hair color results aren't the only thing that has raised dust after the findings.
The study, conducted by The Bulimia Project using Dall-E 2, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney, found that the images were much more "sexually charged."
For women, 37% of AI-generated images had blonde hair and 53% of the photos produced include women with olive skin.
A lot of muscle, little brain?
While the men showed them with great musculature as they came with marked abs and extra tight shirts, says Daily Star.
The study found that 67% of the men in the images had brown hair, while 63% showed tanned skin.

After using AI to analyze those present on social media as the ideal man and woman, The Bulimia Project asked her to share her perspective based on images from the internet.
The "perfect" man in 2023 had facial hair and mostly brown eyes and hair.
As for the women, they had brown eyes, brown hair and tanned skin, Daily Star reports.

The Bulimia Project said, "Considering that social media uses algorithms based on what content draws the most attention, it's easy to guess why representations of AI would prove more sexualized."
"But we can only assume that the reason AI created so many bizarre versions of the physicists it encountered on social media is that, to begin with, these platforms promote unrealistic body types."
