The Holzkirchen police have drawn a conclusion about the spring festival: It is extremely positive.
After the cancellations due to the pandemic in the past two years, the Holzkirchen Spring Festival, which is also known beyond the district borders, took place again as usual this year. According to the police, several thousand visitors celebrated peacefully for five days at the Herdergarten.
Head of operations: "Event without major disruptions"
In cooperation with the organizer Musikzug, the market Holzkirchen and the local police inspectorate, a joint security concept was developed. The head of operations of the Holzkirchen police during the festivities, Robert Hirschel, draws his positive conclusion succinctly: "Event without major disturbances". The current head of the inspection, Robert Maurer, also speaks of a successful event. According to the police report, the smooth course of events was certainly also due to the good cooperation between the authorities and the organizer.
Six investigations, mostly for minor fisticuffs
The Holzkirchen police draws a positive balance. On the part of the officials, a total of six investigations were taken up and processed during the entire festival, mostly because of minor fisticuffs. There were no serious security disruptions during the entire event.
Police do not register traffic violations related to alcohol
"Special praise is to be given to road users," the report continues. Around the festival grounds, several traffic checks were carried out by the Holzkirchen police, "all drivers were not under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances". The police have also not found any criminal offences or administrative offences in connection with alcohol or drugs in road traffic. In addition, the requirements for the protection of minors had been complied with.
On the fringes of the Spring Festival, however, there was a somewhat larger incident. A group of young people beat two festival visitors from Bad Tölz.
