The majority sectors of the leadership of the plant do not adhere or mobilize this Thursday. Discomfort over the criticism of the Vice President who accused them of being a 'macrista' CGT.

The last noisy criticism of Cristina Kirchner ended up embodying a decision that several leaders had slipped beforehand: the majority sectors of the CGT and the central itself in institutional form, will not adhere or mobilize this Thursday to the act that the vice president will lead in Plaza de Mayo.

Only a handful of unions aligned for a long time with Kirchnerism, but with limited influence on the cegetista structure, will participate in the call, in further evidence of the unavoidable differences that have long coexisted in the entity and that prevent it from articulating a homogeneous political project and with the capacity to manage spaces of power within the official internal.

"

If for her we are the CGT macrista, it makes no sense for us to be there," a director of the first line of cegetista emphasized to Clarín. The same reference was made by three other union members to explain the absence of the main trade union confederation in Plaza de Mayo.

The discomfort with Cristina's questioning in last week's report on C5N escalated in recent days. "Many governors said 'Cristina's cycle is over.' The CGT did not know if it was with Macri or with Peronism. Very hard, but true," was the public reproach of the Vice President.

At the top of the plant, where the dominance is exercised by the network that makes up the "fat" (large unions), the "independents" (UPCN, UOCRA and Obras Sanitarias) and the barrionuevismo, they defined as "an unnecessary attack" the accusation of CFK at a time when, according to union observation, the Frente de Todos needs to overcome internal disputes and unify positions in the face of electoral definition.

There is discomfort at the top of the CGT because of the criticism that Cristina hurled at them.

"What hers is a new negative attitude and, in addition, a totally lying complaint," charged another unionist. As part of this criticism of the former president, the Cegetista caciques mix with the persistent feeling of rudeness on the part of the Frente de Todos leadership: "They do not put us in the place that corresponds, they do not take us into account."

Union complaints over CFK's "finger"

In the triumvirate of leadership, with the exception of Pablo Moyano away from the decision-making process of the union and in a fierce fight with his family in the Teamsters union, they admit that the words of the vice president fueled the anger towards his figure, but maintain that the decision not to participate in the act of 25 of <> was already taken. "Beyond that statement, no one was going to go. It is an act of a sector that continues to pose itself as the only one that decides everything, "they questioned there in direct allusion to the "finger" of Cristina in the assembly of lists and the definition of the electoral strategy.

Neither the triumvirs Héctor Daer and Carlos Acuña, nor the independents Andrés Rodríguez, Gerardo Martínez and José Luis Lingeri, nor the referents of other important leadership guilds such as Commerce, the UTA, the Fraternity, textiles, judicial, municipal porteños, brewers, insurance and gastronomy will be in the Plaza.

"We intend that more than carrying out acts as a sectoral compulsion, our Peronist politicians seek to reconcile positions to draw up a plan of dialogue with the different political forces and achieve some measures that tend to get out of the level of macroeconomic complexity that we face," Martinez said to describe the majority position inside the labor federation.

The bet of the unions allied to Kirchnerism

A very different position is expressed, on the other hand, by the handful of Cegetista leaders who are politically enrolled in Kirchnerism and who will mobilize their militants to listen to Cristina.

In this group appear the leader of the UOM, Abel Furlán; the head of the banks Sergio Palazzo; the deputy of Smata Mario "Paco" Manrique, the Minister of Labor of Buenos Aires and reference of tanners, Walter Correa, and the unionists that make up the Fresimona, the union political front created by Pablo Moyano, but from which the still number two of Teamsters distanced himself in recent days, so until this Tuesday his presence in the Plaza was in doubt.

The leader of La Bancaria, Sergio Palazzo, will mobilize the Plaza de Mayo.

Precisely the Teamsters union, today under the exclusive command of Hugo Moyano himself, appeared aligned in recent days with the position of the majority sector of the labor federation and avoided any official call to join the Kirchner celebration.

Several of the K unionists of the CGT, in addition to the head of the CTA of the Workers, Hugo Yasky; the head of Suteba Roberto Baradel and the leader of Ctera, Sonia Alesso, even took charge of the organization of the event together with La Cámpora and other political spaces that respond to Cristina. To this end, they convened last week the meeting in Smata, in which, in addition to agreeing on the details of the mobilization and the speeches, they insisted on the centrality of the vice president to define the electoral arming of the ruling party.

"Cristina invites us to the time of the peoples. He invites us to grab the Argentine flag, gather our comrades and blow up the Plaza de Mayo," said Vanesa Siley, a leader of the union current headed by the Palazzo banker.
