An indictment was filed today (Tuesday) in the Lod District Court against three residents of Bat Yam, including Arseny Bogyuev, 19, Sergei Kuash, 20, and a boy resident of the city for extortion by threats of a 15-year-old resident of the city. This was done in order to provide them with the details of a resident of the north, between whom and the defendants there was a dispute.
The investigation of the case began two weeks ago at the Netanya police station when a complaint was received from the boy, who claimed that he had been abducted by the three while threatening with weapons. During the abduction, it emerged that during the abduction, the defendants threatened the minor that if he did not cooperate with them, they would harm his family, and later also threatened his mother with harm to her and her family, including mentioning the intention to cut off the son's fingers. In addition, it emerged that one of the defendants distributed intimate images of the victim in order to increase the pressure on him.
As the investigation progressed, the officers coordinated a renewed "encounter" between the victim and the defendants at the city's train station, during which the three were arrested. A search of their bags found, among other things, a gas pistol, cable ties and a gas mask. In addition, one of the defendants found personal items belonging to the extortionist who had been robbed of him a few days earlier.
