Three days after the publication of the report of the Court of Auditors which draws "an unfavorable balance sheet of cattle farming for the climate" in France, the indignation and anger of the agricultural world do not weaken. Especially since the authors of this 80-page document recommend "a significant reduction in livestock" to meet the France's international commitments to reduce methane emissions. Ruminants emit it during digestion. "These conclusions are very unfair," said Patrick Bénézit, a farmer in Cantal and president of the National Bovine Federation. Grasslands store carbon up to
